Penuche Icing

  • ½ cup butter or margerine
  • 1 cup (packed) brown sugar
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 ¾ to 2 cups powdered sugar

Melt butter in sauce-pan. Stir in brown sugar. Stir and boil over low heat 2 min. Stir in milk. Bring to boil, stirring constantly. Cool to lukewarm. Gradually stir in powdered sugar until thick enough to spread.
