Lemon Sauce

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon rind
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ cup butter or margerine

Mix sugar and corn startch in sauce pan. Gradually stir in the water, and boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Stir in butter, lemon juice & rind. Pour over pudding and serve hot -- will be thin. May susbstitute vanilla or rum flavoring for the lemon.
