Fruit Pudding

#1 Mix together:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple or applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon mixed spices

#2 Mix 1 tsp. soda in 3 TBS. buttermilk. Add soda and milk to first mixture. Stir in 6 TBS. melted margerine. Pour into greased, floured pan & bake 350° about 25-30 minutes. Nuts, dates, raisins, etc may be added. Top with penuche icing or lemon sauce.
